WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO HAVE A PERSONAL VISIT?
- Inmates are eligible to receive a personal visit only after they have been incarcerated for a period of ninety (90) days. No inmate incarcerated for less than ninety (90) days shall be eligible for a Personal Visit.
- Inmates are authorized one (1) personal visit per month
- Inmates that have been found guilty of either a Class I or Class II Infraction within a thirty (30) day period prior to their scheduled Personal Visit date are ineligible for that month’s Personal Visit.
- Any inmate on pre-hearing detention at the time of Personal Visit scheduling, shall be ineligible for their personal Visit.
- Visits are approximately forty (40) minutes in length and are limited to approved visitors that appear on the inmate’s “Authorized Personnel List”. There will be five inmates scheduled per each 40-minute session.
- The authorized number of individuals that are allowed for Personal Visits are as follows: one or two adults, or two adults and 1 child (under 18), or 1 adult and 2 children (under 18).
- All other rules in the inmate handbook under Section 1: Visiting, must be followed.
PLEASE NOTE – IF YOU ARE CAUGHT CONSPIRING WITH ANOTHER INMATE, OR WITH ONE OF YOUR VISITORS TO BRING CONTRABAND INTO THE FACILITY, YOU WILL BE CHARGED ACCORDINGLY, AND LOSE YOUR PERSONAL VISIT PRIVILEGE PERMANENTLY.
- All other rules in the inmate handbook under Section 1: Visiting, must be followed.
HOW DO I SCHEDULE A PERSONAL VISIT ?
- All Personal Visits are scheduled by telephone appointment. Your visitor(s) is required to call 856-769-4300 ext. 7790 on the Friday night before your Unit’s designated Saturday or Sunday weekend. Calls will only be accepted between the hours of 7:30 p.m. and 10:00 pm on Friday night. Do not call to try to schedule an appointment days or weeks in advance.
- The appointments are scheduled in the order the phone calls are received. There are 5 appointments made for each 40- minute time slot.
